1. Core Principle: 100% On-Device Transcription

• No Audio Collection: Flash Transcribe performs all speech recognition locally on your device.
• No Cloud Uploads for Transcription: Your imported audio files, video files, and generated transcript documents are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party AI training databases.

2. System Permissions

• Speech Recognition: Required to convert spoken audio into accurate subtitles directly on your device. All processing happens entirely offline/on-device. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's system privacy settings.
• Photo Library / Document Access: Only requested when you choose to import a local video or audio file for transcription. We only access the specific file you select.

3. Remote Media Links

• When you paste a publicly accessible video link from a mainstream video platform, the App extracts the audio stream directly on your device to enable transcription.
• We do not collect, track, or store your video browsing history, platform accounts, or personal preferences.

4. Translation Services

• When you explicitly choose to translate subtitles, the relevant subtitle text snippets are securely transmitted via encrypted connection to a trusted translation service solely to fulfill your real-time translation request.
• We do not use your text to train any public AI models, and the translation provider does not retain your translated text. If you do not use the translation feature, no text is ever transmitted.
